A Perfect Event -

What can I say? This event went perfectly - everybody contributed 150% and went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming to others, no matter what their interest was. We had gays and straights, queers and crossdressers, bikers and business people, sadists, masters, slaves, sissies and leathermen(and women,, of course) and everybody got along like the strange but close family we really should be.
The Sadists were suitably cruel, the Masochists were penitent and vocal, the littles were oh-so-cute and the sissies were in top form. Even the newbies did their part and jumped head-first into the flames.
As for staff, Amy and Zeb threw their hearts and souls (literally) into the event, Boyd and Thomas (Black Phoenix) did an incredible Dungeon (actually, two) with help from Chris from Suspension NYC and outstanding musical vibes from Mixtress Dee and lady Di of Hellfire NJ with their dutiful slaveboy Zip. The DM team was run by the infamous Bartman and the oh-so-voluptuous Dove with her glow-in-the-dark undies.
The vending area was run by Sparky and Lady Merri and never worked better - Mistress Gabrielle and Stephanie did a Formal Tea fit for Royalty. I also have to hand it to Frank and Terry and the security staff for making the place private without making it a torture just getting into the event. Nina's team did registration with most people commenting of how quick they got registered and on to the fun!
One team you almost never saw (thankfully) was our Med team who only had to respond to a very few non-scene related issues - but they were always there to protect you - Firefly, Zelda and Hawkeye, plus a small army of EMTs. paramedics and other emergency staff on other duties but always available to help.
I hope you didn't miss our first-ever (as far as we know) water bondage class with Lew Rubens and our own Amychara as Victim Du Jour. That was one hot scene, even underwater. Of course the hottest scene was British Lucky Paul's class which required a visit from the Edison Fire Department! If you did miss either - you were probably at one of our other never-been-done-before classes, Zeb brought in a stellar bunch of presenters. Finding your way around was easy thanks to the very professional program guides designed and executed by Jezebel of MAOL.
It all added up the kind of event I always wanted to do - not too big, not too small and with time enough to make friends and find play partners - I don't think anyone went home without a larger contact list.
I really can't take credit for this event - everyone there contributed including the sttendees who showed up with full toybags and left with suitcases full of damp underwear - it's all like some giant confetti cannon and all I do is pull the string and wait for the big "Boom"!

That's important - Brimstone is like an orgasm, they're great, but just because you had one doesn't mean you have to stop playing ! |
